Inspired by her brushstroke style

This piece was an exploration and practice for gouache that I had way too much fun with and ended up liking a lot. I forgot to take process pictures (and they wouldn't be very attractive if I did) but I do have the reference image that I used from pintrest. I didn't know where to begin, so I watched a few tips and tricks for how to use the medium right. I failed pretty badly at these, so I decided to wing it, which resulted in what I have now. Ultimately, I liked the product because of how I stylized it and made it my own. I used yellow to make the eyes and lighting pop.
