In 2020, I contributed to the community by voulenteering at that year's Wharf to Wharf event with my family. Wharf to Wharf Race is a nonprofit corporation chartered to promote the health and fitness of the youth of Santa Cruz. It starts at the Santa Cruz Wharf (Beach St. & Cliff St.) near the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk, and finishes at the Capitola Wharf (Wharf Rd. & Cliff Dr.) near Capitola Village.

I woke up at 4 am with my family and drove to the warf to help set up the event, and then later, manage and organize the runners. We organized the set up, including the finish line and refreshment areas. We also established the fences.
