FUTURE PLANS
As a consistent academically dedicated honors student, I have never set a goal for myself that I didn’t think I could accomplish if I truly applied myself. And while I know that graduating from the Cabrillo Honors Program without any student debt before moving on to a 4-year university for higher education is a pretty ambitious plan, my eyes have always been bigger than my family’s pocket, and I am more than willing to fight relentlessly to achieve a bright future for myself.
I've spent my whole life overcoming challenges and honing the mechanisms in my mental toolkit to better prepare myself for the world and all of its future challenges, leading me into the person I am today. I am an openly queer, neurodivergent, hard-of-hearing individual with a strong work ethic and commitment to what I am passionate about. I am committed to being a free resource for people in situations both similar and different to mine. I am committed to pursuing information and protecting people within my communities. I am committed to growing into a person that can express myself creatively to my most total and honed ability. I am committed to growing into someone who can be proud of herself and her contributions -- that is the future I want for myself.
