Master Artist: Paul Gauguin

Inspired me through his use of color.

I was very inspired by her friendly colors and dynamic poses.

This, by far, is m personal favorite finished piece I've done all semester. I experimented a lot with digital lighting effects and coloring methods, and it payed off. I really like the vibe that it gives off, and I don't think anything seems out of place or awkward. The character, Michelangelo (rise of the teenage mutant ninja turtles), has always been my favorite, and here I paid homage to that by illustrating him as playful and kinetic as he behaves. I put special attention into utilizing the element of color and principle of movement. I had fun with it, and the only thing I would change would be my lack of background. I really need to work on backgrounds.
